As a lifelong artist, I started painting at five. Inspiration is drawn from the aesthetics of the natural world, specifically the chaos and the natural forces in nature. Chaos Theory, the process of time and erosion, mixtures of elements, things that are irregular and complex fascinate me. In my art is the story of that fascination and some figments of my dreams. Added to it are my emotions and passion for shape, color and hue. I want to give the viewer the value of a work of art that is detailed, intricate, and can be gazed into with new things seen and felt each time. Similar to looking at clouds, gazing into the embers of a fire, finding shapes that resemble things, I strive to create paintings that really propagate the mind's tendency to make patterns and images from a seemingly chaotic assemblage.
